iPhone Glitch Leaves Users Late for Work in Europe
Some iPhone users in Europe overslept for an hour on Monday as a bug in the device caused the alarm clock to go off late. The function failed to register the end of Daylight Savings Time even while the iPhone clock adjusted itself to the correct time.
"People began blaming Apple for not getting to work or school on time almost immediately on Twitter," The Wall Street Journal reported. A similar incident happened last month in Australia.
Apple said it will resolve the glitch with a software update, but "it was unclear whether that fix would come by next Sunday when the U.S. will be switching to Standard Time from Standard Time from Daylight Savings," the daily said.
